Patch Notes - The Adventure Zone, and Beta Fixes
The world keeps sharpening - and this time it grows. A whole new zone opens for the endgame, on top of another stack of tester-confirmed fixes. As always, a bow to Szafut and everyone posting reports: every fix below was reported by a player and confirmed in game.
Enter the Adventure Zone
High-level hunters have a new home. In the far corner of the fairy canyon, a swirl now carries you into the Adventure Zone - a serpent-infested canyon built for levels 102-117:
- Serpent (Lv 102), Senior Serpent (Lv 107), Alien Serpent (Lv 112), and the mighty Basilisk (Lv 117, 60,000 HP).
- A grinding ground to stand beside Mystic Castle - the same silver, the same drops, and the global Meteor and gear drops apply here too.
- When you are done, a return swirl sends you back to Ape City.
Restart your launcher once to pull the new map so it renders for you.
Rebirth, smoothed out
- No more stuck offhand. Reborn from a dual-wield class (Trojan or Warrior) into one that cannot dual-wield - a Taoist, say - and the weapon in your left hand now drops safely into your bag, instead of locking a slot you could not clear.
- Reflect follows your bloodline. If Warrior appears anywhere in your rebirth lineage - first or second - you keep the Reflect skill, even after reborning into another class.
Confirmed by the testers
Combat & skills
- Cyclone and Superman no longer stack - they are mutually exclusive now, and an active Shield blocks layering any other buff on top (healing still gets through). Kill-extension caps at 180 seconds.
- Training-ground skills are free - no mana or stamina on the practice dummies (the XP bar and cooldowns are unchanged).
- Nine weapon-skill books now teach their skill: WideStrike, SpeedGun, Penetration (dagger - the hardest hitter), Halt, Snow, StrandedMonster, Boreas, Celestial and Roamer. They are passive procs: read the book, equip the matching weapon, and swing normally.
- Meditation and Spirit Healing stay manual - stamina support skills, cast by hand rather than on the auto-loop.
- Bless costs a full stamina bar per cast (the second-rebirth prayer).
Luck & blessings
- The Luck system is live. Casting Bless begins praying (charging about three seconds of luck per second, up to two hours). While that luck drains, every kill carries a bonus chance at a Meteor, a +1 Stone, or a DragonBall.
- Praying Stones grant Heaven Blessing for 3, 7, or 30 days (they stack). A blessed player loses no experience when a non-blessed player kills them - and that killer is cursed for five minutes.
Items, potions & drops
- Health potions scale with the monster's level - from Stancher on the weakest mobs up to Mil. Ginseng (3,000 HP) past level 116 - and mobs now drop mana potions too (rarer).
- Arrows spend across packs - a three-arrow Scatter fires even with one or two left in the quiver; the rest come from your next pack.
- The empty-potion ghost is gone - the last potion of a kind is simply used up, with no useless "0" stub left in your bag.
- Ape zones are 50 percent denser.
Town services
- The Beautician opens the real face window - the client's own grid of face portraits (per sex), not a text menu. Pick one, confirm, 1,000 silver, and your portrait changes at once.
- The Barber is easier - five styles per page with two-way navigation, a jump back to the page you chose from after a cut, and the crash on browsing more styles is fixed.
- Two Pharmacists actually sell now - the Market Pharmacist and the Twin City Druggist, who used to only promise a "shop coming soon", now open real potion shops.
- The Dye Master dyes in Twin City - right there on the main map, so you never need the tiny Dye House that broke at high resolution.
Launcher & client
- The Discord button works - the launcher (1.4.7) opens the invite properly. Restart the launcher once and it self-updates.
- In-game settings persist - your action bar, shadows and name-visibility choices now survive across sessions and patches.
On the site
- The bug-report box on the test page is fixed - it no longer hides under other windows, so you can report bugs right here on the site.
Behind the scenes the team also gained a web player-admin panel and an expanded GM cheat-sheet - housekeeping that keeps the beta moving.
Keep the reports coming.
