Patch Notes - The Blessing Completed, and Six Clients at Once
Everything below was reported by a player, fixed, and then checked in game by the tester who reported it. That last step is the one that matters, and it is why these leave the test board and land here instead.
Heaven Blessing keeps all of its promises
The Praying Stone's own description lists more than we had built. The rest of it is in:
- +20% experience from everything you kill while blessed.
- +50 maximum stamina - the second segment of the bar, trimmed back when the blessing lapses.
- Revive where you fall, without the walk home from your city.
- One hour of double experience a day, from the Love Stone on the Market or the Matchmaker in Desert City.
- Offline training at the Boxer on the Training Grounds: he asks what you want to practise, tells you what an hour and a whole night are worth before you agree, and pays it out on your next login.
The level-40 promotion costs five EuxeniteOre
As it did in the original game. Your class master says how many he needs, checks that you have them, and takes them when he promotes you. The ore comes out of the Mine Cave, so the second promotion sends you down the mine for a few minutes.
Lucky Time does everything its tooltip claims
The bonus drop was only a part of it. Praying now also buys you a blow that lands twice, a moment the world cannot touch you, an experience surge, and a kinder hand at the forge - every crafting roll gets a real bonus, which helps most exactly where the odds are worst. Its potency-orb boost was toned down after testing: a 25% chance of a double charge rather than doubling every one.
Six clients at once
The two-client limit sat in a single number inside Conquer.exe, and the launcher now patches it: six games can run side by side. The ResetGui 0 191 window follows the action bar again at HD resolutions instead of clinging to the screen edge, and the launcher carries both.
The square in front of dialogs
The 5065 client mangles a dialog line it considers too long and draws a small square in front of it. Rather than hand-break the text that showed it, every NPC line now wraps itself - the quest givers first, and since then every NPC written in code as well.
Phoenix Castle has guards again
All three of the city's guards were spawning inside one 13x13 box in a corner while the rest of the city stood unwatched. They now hold nine posts across it.
And a few smaller things
- The in-game tip that said items go to +9 at most now says +12, which is the truth.
- Keep me signed in holds for 14 days on the website. It worked for everyone except staff accounts, whose sessions were being capped at twelve hours right after the box was ticked - which is why the owner was logged out daily.
- A full Guild War guide is on the site: the Saturday window, the entrance, the pole, the gates, the bombs, the prison and what the winners collect.
The mentor system, and why it is on hold
It was built and tested - taking a student, the contribution they earn you, the exchange, and the client's own mentor windows answering for the first time. It is switched off all the same: what a mentor shares turned out to be battle power, a score counted from the gear you wear, and what that score should do in a fight is not settled. We would rather leave it out than ship half of it. Nothing anybody earned was deleted.
